Reading today is frowned upon by many for a number of reasons, therefore teaching reading is even more difficult because reading habits must be acquired in order to understand any language, it is a part of commmunication. Someone would be able to speak any language without reading habits but it makes it challenging, if the student does not live in a country where english is not the official language how can they increase knowledge of the same if they do not get themselves exposed to the common expressions used by those who live in those countries in their daily lives?
