Throughout my teaching experience I have always wondered about the use of material in class. I haven't been able to find a book that has the perfect match to the course I am delivering. I personally like to work with created and authentic material; however, I sometimes find that the activities I plan don't meet the desired objectives I had in mind. Now, I think about how course books come in handy in these type of cases, and how a tested book can help prevent unexpected results that might affect the class. I now feel the need to consider using more books, so there can be a balance.
