I really like the fact that the very first unit of this course highlights the importance of knowing how to communicate with people of other cultures.
As someone with an interest in communication and human behavior, I am pleased to see that this is emphasized. Knowing how the student interprets your message through his/her own cultural filters will do all the difference, as well as knowing how to receive the message that is being sent back by the same student; how to listen.
