Unit 1 examined qualities that good teachers and students possess, the types of roles they are responsible for, the language ability levels of students learning a new language, differences in young and adult learners and reasons for students wishing to learn English. After completing this unit, I learned what it means to be a successful and good teacher and what the major differences between young and adult learners are. In addition, I learned what some of the best qualities are to have as a student and a teacher.
