This unit provided a basic discussion on vocabulary, grammar and function. Ideas were presented on what vocabulary to select and how to teach it. The ESA method was again presented as a possible method. An example of ESA straight, boomerang and patch work methods were demonstrated on a general level with very few specific examples. Most of the concepts were very general. A large amount of opinions were introduced on how to analyses students and how students learn vocabulary and grammar.
