Like the other lesson on tense I found this difficult. I can explain past tense in a general sense but the specifics seem overwhelming. Honestly it seems more confusing then it need to be. I think we can explain the use of past tense but I am unsure if all of these rules and different modes of tense are necessary. I found the lesson helpful but my frustration with the complexity of the English language increased.
