I found this section useful and felt it provided some valid information that has direct use in the classroom. I agree word origin is not found in most dictionaries but it is in the good ones like the Oxford English Dictionary. I again feel this lesson is somewhat dated. I have been to many developing nations (an in their schools) over the past few years and smart phones largely replace CD's, Tape recorders, etc. In the lesson it says something like "in recent years tapes have been replaced by CD's"...maybe twenty years ago? I left cassettes behind decades ago and it has been at least a decade since i even got a CD or DVD. Technology has advanced to a point, globally really, where a fair amount of the information in this lesson is dated.
