This unit talked a lot about discipline and the importance of establishing rapport amongst one's students. Personally, when I was a language student, I always despised group/partner work, finding that I was oftentimes carrying my partner or that I felt too awkward being paired with someone who clearly did not know better than I did. I would edit this technique by having pairs work in front of the class to decrease likelihood of bullying, embarrassment, or the student learning things that are simply not correct.
