This unit covered coursebooks and unit materials. This really opened my eyes to the fact that there is not just one right way to teach. Some teachers use a textbook religiously and others rarely use the textbook at all. Somewhere in between those two extremes is best, but this lesson was encouraging to me in that way. It was also empowering to know that I can vary from the coursebook whenever I think it's necessary so that my students can get the best education possible
