This unit was based on two videos. The first one showed a poorly planned lesson on modal auxiliary verbs. The second video showed a class exposing the same theme and given by the same teacher. However, this class presented a better lesson plan than the first one. This could be noticed in many aspects, such as the difference in teacher-students rapport observed in both classes; the lack of a defined structure seen in the first class when comparing it to the second one, which showed each lesson stage in a clearer way; the class flow, which became more natural and comfortable for students in the second video, among other aspects that were clearly seen in both cases. These videos allowed the comparison between an effective class and one with a lot of things to improve.
