This unit helped me to reflect on the variety of roles we need to adapt to as Teachers of English. To be more aware of the qualities that make a good teacher and how this qualities need to come through in the classroom. As such these qualities are reflected on the students and like it mentioned in the unit good teachers will have good students. Furthermore understanding what makes a good learner, what motivates them, their expectations and what hurdles they face when learning a language. In the end it's up to us to understand our students and to guide them without losing their respect, motivation and desire to learn.
