This unit describes the various parts of speech in a sentence, where they should be placed in the sentence and their proper usage. This unit describes nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions. This unit describes the different classes of each of these parts of speech and how they should be used. In this section I learnt the difference between past simple verbs and past participle verbs. I also learnt he term 'Gerund', the parts of speech it describes and how to use it properly.
