In this lesson I learned about what the characteristics of a good teacher. For example, involving all students, being kind, correcting without offending, and understanding students' weaknesses and helping them through their struggles. The content of this unit taught me about what a good student is and how to identify the different levels of students. Another important factor I learned is being able to identify students' motivation and trying make your teaching fun and engaging to build on the motivation they have. The most important thing I learned was about the different roles of a teacher. Understanding how to use one or some of these roles in different activities while teaching is vital to enhance the learning of the students.
