In this lesson I learned about the teaching methods which are most appropriate in the introduction of new vocabulary words. The techniques included engage, activate, and study. Their order can be altered to create different lesson plans. From my experience learning a second language, the "straight arrow" lesson plan has been the simplest and easiest to remember. I will integrate the others and hypothesize on the effectiveness of them and why one of them was so effective on myself.
