The primary teachings that I took from the content of this unit are the importance of self-monitoring on the strengths and weaknesses of both the lesson and the teacher's performance/teaching/delivery. I am a visual learner and so it was great to be able to see these concepts that I have been learning applied in a real-life example and the ways to do it and not to do it. I also learned the importance of being prepared with a sequence of the lesson plan. There is also an emphasis on giving clear instructions before activities and giving students appropriate time frames to complete. I really enjoyed this lesson.
