In unit 12 we went over productive skills, these are speaking and writing, they produce information. It is important to work on these skills equally. Most of the time we work more on oral production , to help students overcome shyness and work on fluency and communication. Personally a good way to work speaking and writing is giving them time to create some writing and always check it orally so they can always speak. Chilean students tend to be very shy so we have to work that part a lot, most of the time they feel more comfortable writing, but it is very important to get them little by little out of that zone .
