Something to keep in mind about students is that they all will learn differently and there is not one "magical" method that can be used at all times to engage students.
This unit was a reminder to have a variety in teaching. It is important that students can activate different parts of their mind. By providing different activities and methods, students can gain a better understanding. Lessons don't have to follow a strict order. It's okay, and even a good thing, to include different parts and to change it up.
Students will respond well when feedback is positive. This doesn't mean letting mistakes slide, it means knowing when and how to guide students to the correct answer. If the teacher does not allow for students to be responsible for their own learning, they will not truly grasp the language.
