This unit provides insight on the different ways to evaluate students in class. Each type of test carries out different functions and will help either measure or learn about student language level. In addition, it lists some external tests that students can take in order to measure their language proficiency in the long run. Testing students shouldn't be painful for them, and it should aim to really make sure they understand the topics rather than just how capable they are of memorizing the information.
