What i have acquired from this lesson is how to be a patient teacher, what my students will need from me and the roles i will have to take to create a good student/teacher relationship. How to engage and motivate my students to learn a new language. Take the culture background of the students into consideration when teaching them so they can apply what is being taught with ease. Also, inform myself in advance of the learning styles and customs of their culture. The lesson also taught me the different type of student i will encounter depending on age and the names of level of comprehension in a foreign language. That will help me know what teach them and how difficult it will be to teach them with the little to large amount of learning history.
