This unit went over the productive skills of Speaking and Writing. It went over the reasons why many like to focus on speaking rather then writing but it explained the importance of teaching proper writing. And in regards to both skills it covers numerous ways to teach both skills in the classroom. I learnt that people who are not native in English and come from phonetically written languages may have great difficultly when learning to write English as we have many different words that are spoken the same but are written differently.
