This unit provided a basic categorization of teachers and students types. Definitions were provided defining different roles a teacher can play and possible reactions by the students. It also provided various definitions of students language level and motivations for learning English. This unit provided a general overview of the complexity of interactions between students both in terms of a students language proficiency and the role a teacher is performing. The unit defines characteristics of good teachers and good students.
