I particularly found this unit interesting because I am currently learning Russian at a University and saw that my teacher utilized activities similar to the ones mentioned in order to help us read Russian and listen more effectively in Russian. I also liked how it laid out methods that would engage students in both reading (reading their biographies out loud) and listening (listening to other students read out loud). This is super cool because it keeps all students involved while also meeting both objectives which is usually difficult to do.
