I found this unit to be very informative because it provided a vast array of things to utilize when creating a lesson and when teaching students a new language. I loved that you can implement course books while also being creative and using your own material as a teacher as well. I think that it is important to use course books because it helps students feel as if they are making progress with a language and moving forward in their learnings, but I also think that by implementing new activities alongside course book work, students are able to practice what they are learning by speaking and using the vocab that they have learned in a book with one another.
