This Teaching Receptive Skills is really useful for my teaching reference. Actually, before I taught for adult students I have done almost the techniques like this mentioned theory, but no TESOL certificate. The lesson make me more confident teaching if I would come back to the college again in the future. For listening skill it would be no problem, supposed I am experienced enough with international working environment. But for reading skills as we are from Asia, reading understanding is quite a bit difficult compare to student from Europe or Latin America region, not only mention the country like China, Korea, Myanmar the writing is much different from Alphabet system. Any way, I appreciate this lesson which brings me a lot of practical theories.
