This unit explained the differences between vocabulary and grammar function, and how to best teach them. Sometimes, it is the boomerang method that works. Other times, a bit less structure (like the patchwork) may work better. The engage stage seems to be one of the most important stages of teaching language, because this is the part where the teacher can "break the ice," and build up how exciting the rest of class is going to be.
