First of all, it was very useful to revise modal auxiliary verbs , their basic rules and the priceless chart which includes the auxiliary verbs, their usage, forms in present, past and future. The part of the unit about passive voices was also very useful. I revised the main usage of passive voice, the passive voice form, etc.
Secondly, the three categories of clauses which are the independent clause, the dependent clause and the relative clause, was very necessary for me to revise. I also revised that there are two types of relatives clauses: defining and non-defining. Through the examples I learnt how important is the role of comma in the sentence.
The three basic types of phrasal verbs which are intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable is absolutely new knowledge for me! It took quite a long time to understand it fully.
Teaching ideas of the auxiliary verbs and the passive voice, common mistakes and errors is my gem of this unit.
