Understanding the different qualities of teachers and learners helps to elucidate what qualities are the most useful to have as a teacher, and the most likely-to-learn in a student. Key to the section, in my belief, is the kindness and flexibility of the teacher to be able to change his or her approach to take into account a student's motivation, cultural background, and age though these are only a few examples.
