As a teacher of a foreign language, I have never been trained to teach a foreign language, even though I have been exposed to some of the information as a result of taking a trainer of trainers course and being exposed to the role and responsibility of a trainer. Therefore this Unit was very insightful in that it has provided a broad overview of what is required for both the teacher and the learner. In this way it has laid the foundation on which I can build on the other Units as well as help me to see other competencies I will have to acquire.
