In the same way that we have seen the present tenses during the unit 2, the unit 6 offers an overview of the past tenses in english. It goes through the forms and the usages of ; The past simple, the past continous, the past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. It was very interesting to notice the similarities of usage and form between the past and present tenses. I found the unit really helpful to reflect on the usage of the tenses in order to understand even better the subtleties of the english language. The unit also provide practicals exercise or activities to teach the past tenses in a classroom.
