A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE "UNIT 6” CONTENT AND THINGS I HAVE LEARNT. The content of this unit titled “VIDEO LESSON” covers a demonstrating “ESA” Grammar lesson in two contrasting videos with the following similar features but differs in terms of level of lesson, classroom effectiveneness. • Both contrasting videos used the same {ESA grammar lesson} in an English language classroom. • Both used the same English language students and the same. • Both videos used the same Teacher presenting the same lesson subject. CONTRASTING VIDEO 1 LESSON TO VIDEO 2 LESSON. VIDEO 1 \ FIRST LESSON • The Teacher entry behavior was not encouraging, He did not introduce himself nor ask to know the student name. • Less rapport between Student\ student as their work individually. Not knowing each other etc. • Reduce STT. • Confusion in the lesson/student as the lesson concept or point not really clear or not well explained. • few –students participated, class not really effective. • The lesson was fairly presented considering the aforementioned points: the teacher attitude, teaching styles and my unsatisfied feeling as a watched the video. VIDEO 2 \ SECOND LESSON • He did ask the name of all the student and mastered each names. And the students also know his name. Entry behavior was encouraging. • Better rapport between student\student as their all involves in a group work\ activities. And familiar with each other’s names. • Increases STT. • The teacher was able to use familiar concept and create lesson effectiveness. • makes almost all students participated better making the lesson\ class more effective, • The was accurately well presented putting the aforementioned points into consideration ;the teacher attitude, better rapport ,good teaching styles and I feel the students, class and lesson more effectively.
