A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF UNIT 2 CONTENT AND LESSON ACQUIRED. In this unit 2,the content encompasses around the 3 terminologies always used in teaching and learning process; Theories, Methods, and Techniques of teaching.Also the important of FEEDBABCK, features of ERRORS\MISTAKES and CORRECTIONS TECHNIQUES... Meanwhile, under the Teaching Methodologies,I learnt all about the genesis surrounding the philosophical argument that led to the varrous kinds of Language Teaching\Leaning Theories from "17th -19th centuries such as (THE CLASSICAL METHOD equivalent to Grammer\Translation),(TTP 1965 BY JANES ASHER is about Motion and Learning), etc among the old methodologies while the new method "ESA METHOD BY JEREMY HARMER 1998 has been in use till date.. The ESA...E = Engage\ S = Study\ A = Activate. ESA method was genrally developed because of it effectiveness in language teaching approach and it was able to cover most of the teacher and learners in terms of EXPOSURE to Language, MOTIVATION, DISCOVERY, FLEXIBILITY, etc. recommendered for both Trainee and New Teacher as I am experiencing now. In addition, I understood the concept of ERRORS and do occurs among Language learners due to unknowingly or uncertainty etc among the student. While MISTAKE might be a slip of the tongue or pen. In conclusion , CORRECTION and FEEDBACK are very important in teaching\learning process because it enable the teacher to correct in an amiable not embarrassing means and evaluate the lesson effectiveness and know if the targeted objectives are achieved or not.
