In the first unit, I have learned about the requirements and expectations of a 'good teacher' and a 'good learner', the different roles of a teacher, different kinds of learners according to age or cultural background etc. I have also learned the different reasons why students chose to study English and also the on how to define the different language levels. I believe that in order to have a good teaching experience as well as allowing the students to have a good learning experience, it is essential to understand the students and therefore good observation and communicating skills will be helpful as well as a teacher.
