This unit focused on the qualities and responsibilities of teachers and learners. I found the section on teaching roles to be helpful. It reminds me that teaching is a multifaceted job and balance is required. I feel that I need to continue to work on being a prompter and monitor. These are things I have not focused on in the past, yet I see how knowing when and how to help someone find the right word and knowing how students are progressing would be very helpful for teaching.
