This unit discussed how to teach production of the language. The two skills are talking and writing. One thing that stood out to me is that in places where they use a different alphabet, we will not only have to teach spelling and grammar, but handwriting and punctuation will also need to be covered. This should not be surprising as those things have to be covered in school for native speakers, but I had not considered them before for TEFL. The section on teaching speaking was mostly a repeat of other lessons, as maximizing student talk time has been mentioned many times in this course.
