This unit was very useful because I learned what roles teachers can take while teaching. I think it is important to understand, how teachers should approach their students because if I need to remember my own language teachers, I mostly remember their personality and how they taught and not what they taught. For example I had some great language teachers, who could motivate me and keep me interested during the whole class, while others were rather boring and I always felt tired. The secret of the interesting teachers was that they could mix the roles of a teacher, instead of only controlling the class for 45 minutes. I also find it important to look at the motivation of the students, because then we can encourage them to learn more about what they are interested in. (career - vocabulary related to their field, traveling - more expressions which are useful etc.)
