This was an interesting introduction to the course. The material covered what makes a good teacher, what makes a students, different roles that a teacher takes on and different types of students. I learned there are many different roles a teacher takes in the classroom such as facilitator, model, organizer and motivator. I learned that there are different challenges for different age groups, and that adults have different motivations and challenges for learning compared to children.
