This unit looked at equipment and teaching aids. There was a thorough discussion of the various types of equipment often found in ESL classrooms such as; white boards, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors and DVDS. I learned the pros and cons of different equipment and examples of what kind of lesson activities can be enhanced with equipment. I learned that computers are becoming more incorporated into ESL classrooms. There was a useful list of resource books. I also liked the list of online resources available, that will be helpful for new teachers.
