In this unit I learned about equipment and teaching aids. Some of the basic equipment in most standard classrooms are the whiteboard or chalkboard. Additional equipment might include overhead projectors, CD and DVD players, or interactive whiteboards. In terms of teaching aids the most basic include the course textbook, but teaching aids may also include visuals, DVD’s, CD’s, worksheets, dictionaries, etc. A mix of various different pieces of equipment and teaching aids can help the students remain interested and the course material feel exciting.
