In this unit I learned about course books and lesson materials. Various strategies and types of activities for teaching english were also included in this unit. Each teacher will likely have a course book dictating the bulk of their class direction, and it may not be up to the teacher to choose their own course book. In this case, additional lesson materials can be used to omit or supplement certain sections in the course book. With plenty of resources online for crosswords or puzzles, the teacher may be creative and come up with their own activities, or find them online. The most useful information for me in this unit were the online resources for creating my own classroom games and puzzles.
