In this unit I learned about various theories, methods, and techniques in the field of teaching english as a second language. Beginning with the methodologies, I found that there are many ways for students to acquire a second language, and my role as a future instructor will play a large role in that language acquisition. From my choice of classroom activities to my style of error correction, students will be impacted in their ability to enjoy learning english effectively. The biggest point I took from this unit was the flexibility of the lesson activities and the opportunity to keep language learning exciting.
