The two videos in this lesson gave examples of ineffective and effective teaching. I found watching an example of the way to teach the different phases to be very helpful. For me, the study phase, was something I appreciated seeing done both ineffectively and effectively, as I have personally never been in a class that included that phase without teacher lecture. I recognized from other units the need for more student talk and letting them figure out on their own, but being able to see how that might work makes it much clearer for me.
