From this unit i have learnt about Past tenses in English language. Now i know that there are four past tenses in English. Past simple is the tense that we use to describe a completed past action.Past Continuous is the tense that shows actions in progress in a specific time in the past.Past Perfect is the tense that shows action that was completed before a past time. past perfect Continuous is the tense that we use to express an action that began in the past and continues up until the present time. I have learnt about different past forms of verbs. Some verbs are regular and others are irregular - we have to remember all their forms.
