In this unit I learned about the twelve different verb tenses in the english language. Containing many irregular verbs and various conjugations, I was able to understand why learning english verb tense is such a worrisome activity for students learning english. One of the most useful things I found in the unit were the examples of common mistakes that students make when creating english sentences and how to correct them. Since I’m a native speaker of english, it was useful for me to grasp what would cause someone trouble if english was not native to them. This information will surely help me correct my future students when they are learning about verb tenses.
