Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

The content of this unit focuses on the qualities, roles and responsibilities of both teachers and learners of the English classroom, as well as some remarks on what the teacher should avoid doing or should keep in mind while directing his or her English class. I have learned about the different aspects of what describes a good teacher as well as a good learner. Some of these aspects are instinctively obvious (such as, for the teacher, being patient, lively and entertaining, motivating, knowledgeable of the subject), others will demand live practice (such as having a good rapport with the students, avoid offending or affecting their motivation, knowing their weaknesses). What this unit really taught me most is the different roles of the teacher, which makes me reflect on how I should organize my lessons as to be able to switch between those roles and not overdo on any of them. In addition I have also learned about the different categorization of the students, between their age and language level, as well as what these different categories of students could bring to the classroom in a general sense. The video provided is very helpful in the sense that it provides tables that summarizes the unit's content. It also provides a few differences in content such as the Student's language levels which does not include the "Advanced" but on the other hand it gives more precise ages in the age categorization of young learners (from 2 to 7, 8 to 13 and 14 to 18).
