Speaking and writing are seen as the most important skills when you are learning or teaching a new language. Usually, Speaking and listening (one of the two receptive skills) are taught in schools and institutes, while writing and reading are left aside. Since I am a huge fan of reading and writing, for me it is very important to encourage students in these two areas. Having a clear idea on how to transmit this to the students is essential. Not a lot of people like writing.
