This was pretty interesting because up until this point in the course, not a lot of attention has been given to curriculum or actual teaching materials, and this is a pretty big unknown for me as a new ESL teacher starting out. It would seem that there is a fine balance between utilizing course materials and relying too heavily on materials. However, as a new teacher, I would think that it would be helpful to have strong content to use to help build skill and confidence
