This unit introduces authentic materials, created materials, and course books. I have learned why and when do we need to use authentic materials in class; the types of created materials and online resources; the advantages and disadvantages of course books and how to choose and use them.
A good teacher should be able to tailor the materials for different classes, make full use of the course books and able to edit authentic materials to supplement the course books for different levels.
