This unit was short and sweet and very very similar to the unit on present tenses (for obvious reasons). Talked about the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous tenses and their uses. I found the comments on where students typically get tripped up by these tenses particularly useful, because sometimes when looking at an incorrect usage of language, it's difficult to point out exactly what was incorrect, simply that it was not correct. I wish there was some activity listed to help with teaching the past perfect continuous tense, even though it is stated that this tense is not used or taught very frequently...at some point, someone will have to teach it and it would have been nice to have an idea of some activities that would be useful for this verb tense.
