I learnt that there are five types of classes: Beginners, Individual Students, Children, Business English/English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and, Monolingual and Multilingual. There are five categories of beginners: the absolute beginner, false beginner, adult beginner, young beginner and the beginner without Roman alphabet. There are many advantages for a teacher to teach individual students as there are no mixed levels, usually students are highly motivated, students needs can be clearly defined and teachers can develop a close relationship with students to assist them.
