In this unit I learned the qualities of a good learner and teacher. I believe that many of these key qualities are shared by learners and teachers. Both must be passionate about language learning and motivated. Learners must be willing to make mistakes and be corrected while teachers must provide a model of correct grammar and offer corrections in a way that does not discourage future risk taking. In this unit I also learned the different levels of learners, how young and adult learners differ and what may motivate a student to learn English.
